Valeria Barbaresi graduated in Law from the University of Genoa in 2015.

In 2019, she obtained an LL.M degree in finance from the Institute for Law and Finance in Frankfurt.

She was a Visiting Scholar at Vanderbilt University (Tennessee, USA) and in 2024 she obtained her PhD in business law from La Sapienza University of Rome with a dissertation on crypto markets.

She joined Annunziata&Conso in 2024 after having worked in boutique firms specialized in corporate and capital markets law.

She has authored several papers and book chapters on financial market regulation and crypto markets.

Her main areas of expertise include legal advice on financial markets regulation, crypto-asset regulation, and investment services.
